"Provenance" features ten new songs that we improvised and recorded live in our studio in 2026.

The album lives in the dark, droning core of Northern Valentine, and will be released on Bandcamp and our website on November 6th, 2026.

Chroma

"Chroma" combines recent recordings, including a collaboration with our friend Ben Fleury-Steiner, with some remastered songs from our "Fin de siècle" sessions in 2012.

It will be released on Bandcamp and our website in 2027.

A Slight Purpose

"Leopard's Mouth" 20th Anniversary

"Leopard's Mouth" celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2025. The album was such an ambitious project that it demanded we create a film to accompany it.

Live at Eastern State Penitentiary

"Live From Eastern State Penitentiary" features our live score of the first screening of our film, "Leopard's Mouth". It was recorded in the center of Eastern State Penitentiary, as part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival.

Northern Valentine quietly returned from a long break in 2023, releasing our first new music since 2012 - and we've been quite busy ever since. In 2024, we performed live for the first time in nine years - which was an incredible feeling!
